Hey, I’m Ximba

Brazilian artist, muralist and designer.

Drawing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From childhood sketches to the margins of my notebooks, lines have always been my way of thinking, concentrating and expressing myself.

I used to draw during classes instead of taking notes. Somehow, it helped me focus. What started as a simple habit eventually became something much bigger: a way to express myself, build a career and make a living doing what I’ve always loved.

From paper to walls.

There’s something fascinating about taking a drawing beyond the limits of a sketchbook and bringing it to life on a much larger scale.

With a background in engineering and graphic design, I’ve always been drawn to the balance between creativity and structure. Muralism brings these two worlds together, combining artistic expression with planning, proportions, spatial thinking and the challenge of translating an idea into a physical space.

And that’s part of what makes it so exciting to me.

Lines, movement and everything in between.

My work is built around lines, shapes and movement, influenced by Japanese aesthetics, tattoo culture, neo-traditional art, illustration and everything I discover along the way.

I like exploring how different references come together to create something of my own, while keeping my style open to experimentation and evolution.

I’m constantly drawing, learning and finding new ways to push my work further.

Still drawing, just on bigger surfaces.

What once helped me concentrate has become an essential part of who I am and what I do.

Being able to turn something I’ve loved since childhood into my work is, in many ways, a dream coming true.

And I’m still just getting started.

Drawing big. Crossing lines.
